There’s a bulletin board at work featuring employees’ pets with cute facts about each. My two cats are both weird, so I decided to fill in the survey for Monty.

Monty: Shoes (when worn), treats, strangers, light, dark, loud noises, quiet noises, silence, being looked at, being picked up, the outdoors, some furniture, and petting on the belly, feet, or for more than 10 minutes.

Typical answers: Plays fetch, rolls over, does not come when called
Monty: Will stand on the floor and rest his head on the table to beg. He measures 25″, not including tail.

In case you don’t pick up on it: I love my gigantic scaredycat. He’s strange, but that just means he fits right in with the rest of the household.
