Kudos! And congratulations! I wish I had the guts to do the same thing! I have so many things I want to do. Perhaps some day...

I'm breaking my usual rule of not posting to your web site because I want to offer public notice of how proud I am of you. I fully support your decision. You are right. There is never a perfect time. Your success will be all the sweeter for the struggles to achieve it. And, I am sure you will be successful.

I tried working for myself for a year after College. It went pretty well, but I decided to see what it would be like working for some small startup company. The biggest problem I had while working for myself is keeping myself motivated. Often times I would start thinking too hard a question my business plans. Think about building a safety net of people who will help motivate you and trust that your business plans are sound.
